I have an aunt like this and Jennifer Coolidge is so spot on it freaks me out sometimes. I keep calling my sisters and telling them to watch.

My aunt doesn’t have any formal diagnosis but I’m convinced she has borderline personality.
Agree with you about Jennifer Coolidge. Her character takes ditzy blonde too far, almost to intellectually challenged.

I can’t stand her scenes. In the beginning I couldn’t figure out what was wrong with her. The only kind of funny scene was the meltdown with the boyfriend.

Is it the acting you can't stand, or the character? Because I think her acting is fabulous, but I could never be around her character if she were a person in real life, because she is just so offputting.

PP again, as much as I dont care for Jennifer C character, I love the actor & character of hotel manager. He does a great job of a guy right on the edge. With his customer service face versus his real self. I'd watch a series around him again.

That's exactly what I just posted - except she reminds me of a friend with it, not an aunt. But yeah, she seems to me to have that disorder and to be heavily medicated. I'm glad I'm not the only one who saw that in her performance.

She seems heavily medicated to me. Reminds me of when a friend who has BPD was on the wrong meds that essentially made her catatonic. I think she - tje Jennifer Coolidge character - said her mother had BPD; she might, too.

Also, with Jennifer C's character they do extreme camera close ups. I think trying to film her as a comedic physical actor, like Jim Carey, over plays her.

Also am loving Jennifer Coolidge, particularly on this last episode. Her facial expressions kill me!

Molly Shannon is my LEAST favorite casting choice! Everyone else is perfect!
