Take a look at this year's top bracket in this tournament. 9 of 10 teams in that bracket alone are top 20 in one of the HS age groups. The G8 is comprised of teams who have historically been invited, not based on inviting the top teams. Only half of the teams in one of the HS divisions are currently top 20. If the G8 were truly the top tournament they would invite and get the top 20 teams each year. Again, the Mid Atlantic is the tourney you want to get added to the top bracket to ensure you play the top 20 teams during the weekend.

Not sure of the competition, including if any Baltimore teams, but sort of confirms PP comments about Pride being one of the best programs in the DC area team. NOVA team tryouts are in July at Madeira (https://pridegirlslacrosse.com/tryouts/).
Lol, thanks for the laugh. Those teams they are celebrating beat a bunch of lower level clubs and not 1 top 10 club. They can spin their capionships however they want but besting up on lower competition isn't much to brag about.
As for best programs, they can't even communicate in an efficient manner. Their HS girls are all trying out for other clubs and the younger age groups are also looking at other options.
