My guess, total speculation, is that they cannot agree which team (ECNL v MLS Next) will be the A team. Neither team wants to lose their charter for not being competitive and splitting the best players among both does not achieve either goal.

09 gals: greens are receiving offers and team is being finalized. White is coming next should be be out by 21st.

Yes that is 100% happening, and even if the offer comes, parents will surely be looking for next year. The radio silence is what is concerning.

Still waiting on offers for '04G Green. After MYS said all returning players would have a spot next and there would be no tryouts. Then tryouts were scheduled for Saturday and Sunday nights - when many of the players had jobs to be at - on short notice. A lot of surprise added stress for the girls, also during AP exams.

Have offers trickled down to third and fourth teams for boys U11 and U12?

PP, I don’t want to give any more identifying details, but in this instance I had multiple reasons to believe offers for the teams for a particular year were out. It was not a situation where “no one” had heard. The club said all existing players would get an offer so I figured no harm in checking. Whether or not it was truly a glitch, idk but child has an offer now.

I did that. And there was a mistake and they resent the link to register. I think at some point it is better to know than not to know.

DP but I have a hard time believing this. Our entire team is in the dark right now. McLean would be like WTF if no one accepted bc of a glitch. Calls would be made to parents.
