Same goes with drawing up boundaries that don't make sense or messing with Magnet programs just so, as a hypothetical example, a board member or MCPS admin can do a solid for 'friends and family'. It's corruption and everyone knows it.

These are the things MCPS never cares about - they're too busy working their own personal agendas. No matter how many 'for-show' boundary studies are conducted, the Crown boundary map will speak for itself. Crown HS will be a premier example of how MCPS rolls and all eyes are on it.

What does that mean? There are several schools with boundaries that include both sides of 270: WJ, RM, Gaithersburg, Seneca Valley, and Clarksburg.

Wootton is a strange one. The school is on the far edge of its boundary. There is also this island... Most of its students live closer to other HS. No idea why they just don't redraw the boundaries to favor students who live near the school instead of all that unnecessary busing.

That’s because many high schools there are too close to each other.

This is timely, as many in my congregation we discussing this issue. They were discussing Darnestown transferring back to QO when Crown opens. Thoughts?
