You all need to be careful what you wish for... Bobby has to work somewhere. He will be coming to a club near YOU! Heck, he might even be your daughter's coach next year. Then we will see who has the last laugh!! I can not WAIT!

U13: Loudoun 6th place, McLean 11th, BRYC 13th
U14: Loudoun 1st place, McLean 3rd, BRYC 12th
U15: McLean 7th, BRYC 11th place, Loudoun 12th
U16: McLean 4th, Loudoun 10th place, BRYC 12th
U17: McLean 5th, Loudoun 8th place, BRYC 13th
U18/19: McLean 1st,BRYC 5th place, Loudoun 13th

.... so keep comparing yourself to BRYC if it will make you feel better.

Or maybe, just maybe, could it be that prior to 2 years ago Loudoun didn't have ECNL, so the older girls left the club after their U12 season (to McLean, FCV, etc.) instead of playing in CCL, yet again? So the best girls on the older team LEFT LOUDOUN which is why they are struggling at U15 and older as they didn't all just come back from their new clubs. I'd say that Loudoun getting ECNL two years ago is, perhaps, showing a shift in the standings?

That’s one 14 year old team. Have you bothered checking where it matters? Above those ages? Prolly not. Lol

Those teams are obviously going to age out. FCV does not offer a large viable player pool moving forward. They have no rec program to speak of and they are more and more relying on recruiting to improve. Leagues prefer clubs with a documented player pool because it demonstrates viability and consistency.

FCV is one coach away from being a shell of itself. One coach leaves and it is over. Don't think it can happen? Look at BRYC. Look at where BRYC was and look at where BRYC is now.

The same can be said with McLean. But Loudoun? They have tremendous stability as a club. FCV does not offer stability, a boys side or even geographic assurance. Will they move to Springfield at some time? Will they stay at Evergreen? Will TSJ want to keep paying rent at Evergreen? Why would ECNL bother with such unpredictability?

No dog in this fight as I have no children but bunch of nephews and nieces that would make la Cosa Nostra look like a tiny speck.

What exactly do you label as tremendous stability? You know like anyone else in this community that were it not for the ECNL patch Loudoun would be 1/3 maybe 1/2 the size.

Having been around since ‘78 sure helps having millions of $ in rec fees but what do you really have to show for? Performance wise and coaching wise you can’t brag too much.

Sure, I mean, just being the largest club in Virginia, established since 1978, huge rec and pre travel program, they own their own fields other than than that, sure, a what do they have to show ECNL other than their first true A team incorporated in ECNL doing better than their neighbor.

Except BRYC all other VA ECNL teams are doing much better than Loudoun with much less. And poof! Your argument is obliterated with simple facts.

Just making a statement doesn't make it true:

U13: Loudoun 6th place, BRYC 13th
U14: Loudoun 1st place, BRYC 12th
U15: BRYC 11th place, Loudoun 12th
U16: Loudoun 10th place, BRYC 12th
U17: Loudoun 8th place, BRYC 13th
U18/19: BRYC 5th place, Loudoun 13th

So, 2 out of 6 age groups has BRYC looking down on Loudoun in the standings and that equates to much better?

Now give us the comparison with other clubs...

You have not moved passed the bargaining stage here if your are talking about other clubs because you can't face your own grief.

I’ve no kids. But I’ve also never gotten straight answers from the loudoun troupe. Not sure why tho
