Mask would prevent larger spit droplets landing on the other kids. It’s physics.

With the allergy season many people would need to stay home. Colds and cough can go on forever. Masks help.

This is why a number blue states whose governors took the virus seriously, never mandated masks outdoors. Have people mask where it might actually make a difference. Allow some normalcy outdoors. Look at California. Masks mandated everywhere, park benches closed. People get their social needs met inside where they won’t be shamed..masked or not, way riskier than maskless outdoors.
