Why is there any expectation that teams in our area should dominate clubs in other areas?
How does your question apply to my statement
It doesn’t. Just looks like a different perspective questioning why everyone on this forum expects our clubs to dominate. What does this area have to justify this? Superior athletic gene pool? Nope. Hungry kids who need to succeed in soccer to get out of their disparate financial situation? Nope. Superior training and coaching? No again. Entitled parent who project their perceived superiority onto their kids? Bingo!
Nobody was. They’re simple responding to the disenfranchised coach who was talking negatively...and not factually.
Nice to see a shutout loss for the 05 TSJFCV team to end the weekend. Lousy showing for them from the start.
Not a good showing for any FCV teams.

Is anyone really surprised?
Maybe it’s because 5-7 girls from FCV seem to always be pulled to the NTC from each team, while surrounding teams might only get 1-2. Clearly not better, just politically inclined.

ah yes, the trope of the insecure soccer parent
Not insecure at all. Wish for the $ that gets spent in this area the environment for soccer was much better. Clearly not on par with NJ, PA, GA, etc.
You truly have no clue what you’re talking about. Zero. None. Nada. Zilch.
I have plenty idea what I’m talking about. I’ve been involved in travel soccer in this area for a long time as a player, coach and parent. The quality isn’t what it should be. Not enough technical development, too much emphasis on the wrong attributes, especially at the younger age groups. But hey, enjoy watching many of our local ECNL teams in the 3rd bracket struggling to deal with EDP and ECNL-R teams.
