Do you mean the final you were NOT in?
Let’s be clear about something. Your goal was lucky was 1 in 100 because our goalie made a mistake. Your players are dirty, one of them especially. Sure you got this win but I doubt you get another. Would be easier to take if you would have done well in the final but your kickball tactics only work so much.
1. You went form being in your high horse talking smack with 7 Friendly goals to ZERO when it mattered.
2. Dirty?!......Loudon defense tactics: Push from behind and foul at all cost
And last but definitely not least......
3. Way to single out one player on YOUR Team for your loss. That’s real classy. Pathetic
I've noticed that Loudoun do seem to foul a lot as a club - but I don't think it's exactly deliberate (can't speak for this particular occasion, team or girl). I think this often happens when a bigger team plays a smaller one, and Loudoun teams tend to be bigger, more athletic kids. It happens for two reasons:
1. Fouls by bigger kids on smaller kids tend to be more noticeable than the other way around, as the smaller kid is much more likely to go down.
2. Smaller kids are likely to be more technical (not that being small causes them to be more technical - but a kid has to get picked for some reason and if they didn't get picked because they are big and athletic then they're probably technical) - and more technical players tend to draw fouls as the ball is not where the tackler was expecting/hoping.
