Everyone wants them open. Only some people want them open no matter what. Most parents want to open when it’s safe - AKA after teachers get their vaccines.
New CDC head said don’t tie school reopening to vaccines. It’s safe enough without.

Our friends in Germany have been in school full time since last May with minimal impact. Americans are being irrational.
Which town in Germany? Most public schools have NOT been fully open.
+1 It is a complete lie to say that all schools or even most schools have been open full time since last May in Germany. It is only a few and with very stringent protocols. Germans also are MUCH better at following the rules than Americans.
That’s not always a good thing

Most parents think its safe now.
I hope it is. I will be vaccinated, but the kids won’t be. It is they and their families who will suffer if we are wrong.
