I see he has been scamming employees and campers for years, I plan on filing proceeding with the Federal Trade Comission and also through the Hampshire County Courts for unpaid wages to my Son.

If I could offer any advise to anyone on this thread or reading my thread, go to the Hampshire County Wv Court House and also file a claim with the Federal Trade Commission against this owner.

Something that is a little more concerning to me is some of the immigrant kids that are working as kitchen staff has not been paid any money either, some are wanting to leave but have no money to do so.
I've contacted the WV State Police and reported this activity about the immigrants.

Don't let this place fool you. It's now the summer of 2023 and he's still doing the same stuff. Pay was a week late and then he wrote numerous bad checks to his employees. Still currently waiting on pay.

Has anyone seen the first payment yet? I'm about ready to pepper their social media with comments about not receiving settlement money despite repeated requests.

I have still not received anything for the full tuition I paid for 2020.

I have gotten zero checks - have many others gotten money? I can't tell if the above posts are outliers?
Who do I bug? We are still owed the full tuition from 2020.

I am owed almost $3000 and after a lot of pestering, I got a check for $500.

Because I was never on their list of creditors (due to an error on Joe's part), I am looking into small claims court.

Any update on this? We're still waiting for the first check...

Got a check the other day. Dated 2/15, so 1 month and a half after what was agreed to in the settlement. And was for $350 (our total was $2,050 so it isn't quite 1/4 of what is owed.
It's all a little strange.

Typical Joe. It's been nearly 4 weeks and the check has still not arrived.

I did end up emailing the attorney and he forwarded to Joe who responded saying they will be issued by the end of next week.

Has anyone gotten the first of the 4 payments as part of the settlement? I thought it was supposed to be Dec 2022 but I haven't heard anything new since we agreed to the timetable in the court document.
