Prep last won the IAC Championship in 2014 under Coach Giblin. During the past 7 years Prep has has extremely talented players but seem to underperform and come up short. Bullis has won 3 of the past 4 IAC Championships.

This is the max, yes. The bench gets real short in the top flight games, so I would say in games between top schools (Landon, Bullis, Prep, Gonzaga, SJC, PVI and any MIAA), only 14 or 15 players would play barring injury.

Good point re not a tournament schedule for HS. 1 or 2 games a week allows the rest to occur for the kids. If you are thinking about a school for your child that has 2 grades worth of top flight club players already in place, this is a good data point to keep in mind in terms of lacrosse weighing into the decision to attend.

Yeah people way overrate depth. Bullis is definitely not as deep as Landon, Prep, or Gonzaga. But they have more difference makers. Games mostly won and lost based on the best 7-8 players (so long as the remaining spots are decent) is an uncomfortable but true fact. Additional depth is nice but doesn’t really move the needle in terms of wins.

Some real strong players in the 2023 and 2024 classes for Bullis. They aren’t going anywhere.

If Prep and Landon are 9 - 10 players deep, I am sure some players may start looking to play somewhere else or they possibly could become a distraction for the team. Last time I looked only 10 players compete at a time and maybe 18 - 20 players get in close games, this makes for a bunch of unhappy players and parents. Too much depth presents other problems.

Let's see what happens in 2021.

And another thing-- the last team to win 3 consecutive IAC Championships was Prep 2005, 2006, 2007. Prior to that Landon won every single championship from 1981 - 2002.

Finally over the past 10 years--- IAC Championships. For me--- the IAC Champion is the team that wins the IAC tournament.

You Bullis parents are living in Lala land. A couple of 23s are going to cut it moving forward. Both prep and Landon are sitting 9-10 players deep in the 23-25 classes. No point in arguing over the future, it will reveal itself in the upcoming years. Bullis better enjoy their last year at the too bc we all know it’s downhill from here. Even the Madlax 24 goalie will probably end up at Landon is my bet!

Just to let you know there have only been 3 teams since 2006 that have won the IAC regular season without a loss AND won the IAC tournament. I find it very interesting that there was a 10 year gap. It is a very difficult to task.

Whoever wins the last game is king. Other stuff is a participation trophy. This is IAC Lacrosse.

Bullis won the IAC Championship in 2016, 2018, 2019, and (Runner-up in 2017) 2019 GEICO Nationals champion. That's a good run, no denying that. The question is will they be able to continue to stay at the top. Looking forward to an exciting 2021 season to find out the answer. Stay tuned.

I agree with the previous poster... lets see if Bullis can go on a run and win 3-4 IAC Banners in a row before they crown themselves a dynasty.

I am going with GP to win it all this Spring if there is a season. Their FOGO will be the difference maker.
