HEY, are these my orthodontists? Back in the 80s, I had twins Don & Dan orthos who had a practice together!
My contribution: Totally remember my grandmother having these little old lady twins friends named Rose & Poppy. I supposed that's better than Rose & Thorn.

Curious: Why is it SO hard for you to discuss the names without describing them as “urban”? What exactly do you think you’re adding to your description of the names with this detail?

I knew a family in the 70s and 80s with 4 girls: Melissa, Melinda, Michelle, and Mallory.
Also know twins named Armeen and Radeem.

Which reminds me, this isn't twin related, but I know a white American woman who was married to a man from another country, and all SEVEN of her kids have names from his country that are hard to pronounce. Then she was divorced, became pregnant by an American guy and baby #8 is named Fred. I'm not going to say the real names or nationality but something like Xochitl, Meztli, etc and Fred.

Recently? I know a set in elementary now. I don’t understand why you’d do that, especially with that spelling. Mia and Maya would still be bad but slightly less confusing.
