Pandemic in the middle of the winter? I wonder why things are all over the place

There is a better chance now that there was with the DA's rigid policies. WAGS was a good start. CASL offered another opportunities but JefCup could offer the best competition with ECNL and GA and other elite teams from PA, NJ, MD, VA and NC.
Why do you care?
Why do you care that the PP cares?
Because I genuinely want to know why it is so important for parents to have their kids teams ranked? Why does it matter if these teams ever play each other or not. Do they really think it says anything about their kid? If your kids team won would it make you believe they were done how superior and if they lost would you accept that they are inferior?
Here is how these dumb things end up.
Your kids team wins, they and their team is amazing. If they lose, the other team just plays long ball and ugly soccer. Or they cheat, or they just have one good player etc. Just an endless list of excuses.
Just enjoy watching your kid and worry less about comparing your kid to other kids.
It is clear by your reading way too much into this that you have too much time on your hands.
I just want DD and her team to be challenged. If she is ECNL, she could not play against FCV, Solar, NC Courage, etc. Now she will thru the newly expanded ECNL and JefCup. Win or lose, she enjoys strong competition and I enjoy watching her and her teammates play. And no, I am not keeping score nor do I discuss outcomes as you imply.
Clearly an FCV parent.

Your DD is challenged enough and there is zero chance she has ever said that she wished she played against this or that club by name. This is all you as a parent wishing for these things.
I figured as much when DD told me that she liked rev but wanted something more challenging or when she wanted to move from classic to travel or when she said she wanted to ply on the top travel team on her club because that is where the top players were or when she expressed interest in moving to ECNL. Are you the Middle-school psychologist?
