My case seems to be just like the rest of you ladies. I just had 4 polyps removed last week. I will go back on July 1st for my post op appointment and talk with my Dr. about our next step then. Before having the laparoscopy, hyperscopy and salpingectomy last week, we thought that the only fallopian tube that I have would have to be removed. He advised my husband after surgery that we should be able to do fertility drugs and possibly get prego on our own now instead of IVF as we thought before having the three procedures last week. I had seen in one post that someone had insurance that would cover IVF?? I know it was an old post but does anyone know who would possibly cover that? We have been ttc for almost 10 years now. I am 29, close to 30 and am so ready to achieve this goal! We found out about 4 years ago that I was born with a condition called Unicorate Uterus. This is where I have both ovaries, but only one fallopian tube, and only one third of my uterus. We have had to wait and do our procedures and treatments here and there due to insurance or not having the extra cash at that time. We are now stable financially but honestly still cannot afford the IVF process. Thankfully our Dr. is part of the Donor Egg Share Program which will give you a big cash break on IVF for donating your eggs. My eggs are great and I so know how hard this process has been for us so there was not even a second chance about donating them so others could conceive along with being able to possibly cover the IVF cost at the same time. It is still going to be pricey though. I haven't seen a mention of anyone else on here as of yet with my same condition. Is there possibly someone who has it but has not disclosed it?

I just had the polyp removal 2 days ago. My husband and I have been ttc for 6 months with no luck. The doctor says wait 2 weeks until we can start trying. My period last month never came and I got a neg pt. I'm hoping with the removal of the polyp we can be pregnant in the next 2 months.

well polyp removal seems to be preety helpful to me as i m preggo now after six months of getting treated. I feel women must get rid of this trouble as soon as possible as i can be a seriou cause of miss carriage.

Thought I would come back and update all you on my status. I had the polyps removed September 13th. Originally the RE thought there were two polyps but when he went in there via hysteroscopy but there were actually 10-15 polyps that were removed. My uterus was pretty much infested and there wasn't any where for a baby to nest. In October we tried naturally - no luck, November we did IUI with trigger & femara - no luck, Dec & Jan tried naturally and still no luck. Even though we have yet to become pregnant I am really glad that we had the procedure. Everything should be in line for us to conceive, so now we wait on God. It is in God's hands. I will be sure to update when I get my BFP - (speaking in Faith).

I am so scared right now...1 year ago i found that i have an endometrial polyp and that why i can t get pregnant...i ve been triying so hard.. I am 38 and i don t have baby yet...I realy need to have atleaat a child. I am gonna step up now and accept my doctor s offer. He ask me to remove the Polyp i refuse cause i was so scared..Now i can t so this anymore. Ihave heavy blood when i have my peiode and a lot of pain...
I d like to get pregnant after removing the polyp. Please keep me in your prayer. My husband going to call the doctor tomorrow to make appointment. I am no longer scare about the surgery. I am scare to not having child. Evwry body. Mom dad . husband . Sisters . Family and friends will.be happy when i got a baby...plz pray for me. I am criying every day and i am a Christian . I beleived that God will do it.

Anybody know how to get diagnosed for PCOS or Endometriosis?

I have been TTY for about a year and half and have had 2IUIs before they discovered a polyp that I am now waiting to schedule a surgery date for. However, after reading that there is a chance that this may not solve the problem, I'm trying to narrow down to what else could be wrong. Obviously can't rely on the broken healthcare system to proactively diagnose these things since it didn't diagnose the polyps until 6montgs into my treatment.

My husband had tried for 18 month before we decided to move on to IVF. We had done all the work up before but was diagnosed with unexplained infertility. During the mock embryo transfer, we found out that my uterine cavity were filled with polyps which they did not find during the HSG. We proceeded to have all the polyps and polyp like tissue removed and decided to continue to try on our own since I was only 31. It did not work so finally we moved on to IVF again this past spring. The IVF worked on the first attempt and I am 3 weeks away from my due date with a healthy boy. So to answer the question, is it possible to get pregnant after polyp removal...yes, but in our case, we still needed the help of IVF. Although we still do not know for sure why we are infertile, I was diagnosed with stage I endometriosis that was removed last year. After the surgery, we tried for another 6 month on our own with no success so who knows if that was the issue.

Tube. I recently went to the doctors because I hasn't gotten my period and had horrible acne. They did an ultrasound to make sure there were no cysts and they found polyps in my uterus. I'm 25 and I'm so discouraged. We have ttc for months but now I understand I wasn't even ovulating. I don't fully even understand the procedure(s). I want it stay positive & I'm so glad I found this

After 2.5 yrs of totally unexplained IF in our early 30s, 6 failed IUIs (half medicated) we finally decided to move on to IVF. At the mock transfer, they found a 3mm polyp and suggested I have it removed. No one at SG would answer my ? About whether it may have been our problem all along. We went back and forth about whether to go ahead with the IVF cycle and ultimately decided to do it. Got pregnant on that first cycle. No real regrets , but I'll always wonder if we could have gotten pg on our own that cycle. And also wonder why a polyp scan wasn't part of SG's diagnostic work up.

We have not been able to get pregnant, so after seeing a Specialist, I had a Sonohysterogram done in October and they found three small polyps, I'm having a Hysteroscopy with a D&C done in January and hope there is no scarring after the procedure and we are able to conceive soon after. I am 24 and ive had uterine polyps removed twice 1st one march of 2012 2nd removal june 2013 ive had 3 miscarriages and just went and had a HSG done today and I have more polyps again. I dont understand why I keep getting them or if the doctor I had before just missed some both times. We are now seeing a REI reproductive endocrinologist who ordered the HSG I am all for removing the polyps but it discourages me cause this will be the third time in 2 years.

I hate to be a Debbie downer, but I had an 8mm polyp removed in March. We had TTC with temping 6 months before that. I turned 35 in May. We tried on our own after the polyp removal with temping and OPKs and I have very regular cycles. DH has excellent sperm so no one knows what is wrong. I did 3 IUIs this summer and just did retrieval for my first IVF. I'm glad we got the polyp out so my embryo transfer has a better chance of working, but unfortunately polyp removal and the HSG that found it were not the magic fix for us that they seem to be for so many others.

I just had a ultersound to make sure there wasn't a radiance with fibroid wherby was removed last year. I was also diagnosed with pcos whereby I went through ovarian drilling to lower the high amount of male hormones my boost produces. However the surgery only last up to 1yr. So the ultra sound shows that I have a polyp but since this type of test can mistake a polyp for a fibroid , so I go back in for another test that if it come back that I do have a polyp, the plan would be that I have that removed and prayerfully conception can take place. God please open the doors to a new beginning for the your word declares that I be fruitful & multiply and I know you stand by your word 100%.
