They need to get the facts of what happened.

One version is a guy just out for his daily jog who gets hunted down and executed for the sole reason of being black. That is a sensational and emotional story and has spawned a ton of pictures on social media.

The other is a guy acting suspiciously and running away from something who is followed by people who witnessed the suspicious behavior, there is an altercation, and he is killed.

Both are still murder but they are two completely different stories.

What's your point? Why do you feel compelled to comment that the victim was wearing different clothes than you'd prefer yet you don't feel compelled to comment on how odd it to to chase a guy down in the street and kill him for no good reason?
