Yeah, I don't believe you either. Why should we? You have subverted this thread with multiple lies already.
Anonymous wrote:paying someone 3 times market rate is not benefitting the club. They are taking money which should be spent on the kids and giving it away irresponsibly. I can only imagine what other shenanigans is going on.
E.g., at least six lies packed into three sentences.

Pretty sure the thread-crapper is one person.

100-240K people estimated to die, and you are still griping about that? WTF is wrong with you. If it bothers you that much, have your kid play elsewhere next time. I'm not thrilled about it either, but I've made the decision that playing closer to home is better for our lives, and so I'm moving on with my life.
Well how privileged of you that you can just be so “right”. I have bills to pay and no income now. I need the money to pay the utilities, food, etc. wow, some people just live in their own perfect self righteous bubble and can’t imagine someone else having a different set of circumstances. I’m very sorry people will die, if some people will also starve, go homeless, etc.
If that were the case, I really[b] doubt that Tommy Parks would be your top concern. You already paid, everyone already knew he was overpaid before any of this happened, and they said they will refund if there isn't a season. Don't pay for it again if you are so unhappy. Or go to another club next time. You are not a prisoner at Alexandria, there are other clubs, and you don't need to pay for any travel soccer at all next time if it doesn't work for your family and circumstances.

"we will provide fair and equitable modifications to our programming through appropriate options including refunds and/or program credits"
also they noted that they are committed to paying their coaches and staff through the end of june/spring season
My son plays for the same club. I am glad that they are committed ti keeping the coaches employed. However, I am slightly worried that there may be an expectation for academy players to play in the summer if they want their spots back or to move up in the future. If the health crisis resolves, I was planning to send my child to spend part of the summer with his cousins, as we do every year.
It’s good the Board is committed to paying the Director his $300k+ per year... ridiculous
