From the little I could see as a parent, as well as anecdotal evidence from my kids, there was no significant difference between the kids who came from St Pats and NPS. They seemed be equally well-prepared academically and generally really great kids (good citizens, honest, and kind).
I know and like many NPS families. I was happy with our experience at St Pats. My children have done extremely well at the schools they have attended since St Pats as have their peers who attended NPS. I honestly believe they are both great little schools and most children would do well at both. I think, in the end, if you have to chose between these two schools you are extremely fortunate and you should just go with whatever feels more comfortable to you and your family. Were I to be in that position tomorrow, knowing what I know now, I would choose based on how comfortable I felt while visiting each school - taking into consideration the school atmosphere - and my interactions with the administration, teachers, and other families.
+1. I wound choose between the two based on location. Never underestimate the importance of that!
