I am an atheist and pro choice. I don’t care about gay marriage either way. I support school choice and charter schools. I also support science.
I am strongly opposed to illegal immigration, political correctness gone mad, social justice warfare, and everything along these lines. I guess I am neither liberal nor progressive in this sense.

You are a dem my dear. An atheist in the repub party? Ah no. Most dems are opposed to illegal immigration - we just want a humane solution. Kicking out DACA kids who don’t even speak their country’s language seems harsh.

However, as the Democrats moved further to the left and I saw firsthand how the culture and policies of dependency impacted my family, I identified less and less with Democrats (I'm also a closeted pro-lifer and I'm not very sympathetic to illegal immigration so that doesn't help in today's Democratic Party). However, the current GOP is repulsive and amoral and there's no way in heck I can support their agenda which I think is chipping away at our democracy. I'm not going to vote Republican (haven't since Bush at the national level), but I don't feel wanted by the Democrats, so I feel lost. Voting for a 3rd party might feel emotionally right but won't help to solve our nation's problems. Is anyone else feeling lost and disillusioned in today's political world? If so, how are you coping with it?

Charter schools are a miserable failure almost everywhere. If you love sticking to clearly failed policies, the R party is for you!

I probably would. Louisiana governor seems fine. The 1990s version of Biden was fine. Not sure who else exists. Tulsi is ok in some respects. But I'm not voting for anti-science Trans stuff and not voting for racist policies which dumb down education and not voting for the acceptance of third trimester abortion

Based on this post, I’d say you’re likely to vote for a lot of stupid stuff.

And position on immigration?
Newsflash: you’re not a moderate Dem.
You’re MAGA Lite.
Nope. That’s not the attitude we Democrats want. I welcome the PP with open arms. Anyone who wants to be a Dem is a Dem, just fill out the paperwork and do the work to make sure there are candidates who you like!
