And I guess there’s a special kind of dumb ass who doesnt think people can be racist against their own race or hold racist bias and I guess people can’t feel so bad about themselves they commit suicide either

I live in Orlando and it's very much in the news in a WTAF sort of way, so it's not like everyone down here is "what, what's the problem." The officer was suspended and the prosecutor refused to do jack about it, so the "system" is at least working there. Despite the fact that the system never should have been invoked.
The officer that arrested the girl is black isn't he? Maybe he arrested her because she was out of control and had already hurt somebody?

I am not now, nor have I ever, advocated for arresting 6 year olds. If a 6 year old is having violent outbursts in class, even just once every week or two, they can't just be left in there for weeks/months on end while the teacher/parents/administrators figure it out. Its not fair to the other kids in the class. Having to evacuate the class every time a certain kid loses it?
And no I doubt the girl is receiving "the treatment she needs" since her grandmother seems to think she just needs more sleep.
wow, please come over to the special needs board and let us in on the secret to rapidly resolving our child's behavioral issues, including immediate IEP eligibility, completion of an FBA, faithful implementation by the school, and all other services!

When a cop feels like his authority is being challenged (by a 6yo, no less) he is a robot who cannot de-escalate and must ratchet up the severity of the situation.
Cops are actually trained to de-escalate situations. How effective they are often depends on the officer (and the agency's culture).
