Few men would ever consider an escort if their sexual needs were being met within the marriage. Sounds like your low sex marriage was already toast, and his escort visits were an attempt to keep the charade going. I don't follow you about the relationship with kids, but surely that has nothing to do with your already-toasted-marriage-BEFORE-the escorts.

I know one man who got a divorce from a 35 year marriage
for the AP. Man was emergency room helicopter pilot.
AP was a resident at the hospital.

Wife was devastated. She crawled on the floor begging
him to stay in the marriage as he was walking out the door.

Couple got divorced. Ex husband was with the AP for
about 16 months. AP dumped the Ex husband.
There was a pretty extreme age difference between
the helicopter pilot and the resident/doctor AP.

Husband begged the ex wife to get back together.
Ex wife was over him at this point. Ex wife
is doing well, looking good and moving on with
her life. Ex husband who was dumped by the AP
is a lonely old dude who looks really, really old.

The grass is not always greener.

Start dating yiur wife all over again, surprise her with silly things, buy her flowers on your way home. DON'T do this all at once, just make it part of your life.
