He claims to care about children & their future, however in West Baltimore you will find abandoned homes on every block. Many filled with trash, rodents & homeless looking for shelter. Children live on these streets seen here. This district belongs to

Just to be clear I have more videos
I filmed this video to show how long many of the row houses have been sitting abandoned. The tree in this home is taller than the actual home itself. This has nothing to do with race, I was trying to show the plight. Also, I am black ?????
Congratulations, this is exactly what Fox News broadcasted before Trump put out today’s batch of racist tweets.
And, the fact that you find the tweets to be racist shows that you are in total denial about the issues in Baltimore.

They were sincere liberals who really wanted to do their part to improve Baltimore. The townhouse was cheap and they spent years and years trying to improve it with blood, sweat, and tears.
I visited more than once, but I do recall on one occasion being in the little yard in the back and seeing a very large rat run along the fence. It was disgusting. I had my two small children with me, and was just horrified.
This couple worked hard on this place and were true believers in helping people. They put their young kids in the local schools and worked hard to improve things. When the kids got to be around 10 or 12, they threw in the towel and moved to one of the areas on the edge of Baltimore. They did this with sincere regret that the venture was not a success. I think they spent about 20 years on this place.
They were not trying to "gentrify" the area. They just wanted to make it better. Maybe, they helped a few people, but it did not work. Their townhouse was one of two or three on the block which was not a total abandoned disaster. They did not have much money, but did the best they could.
My point: Trump was talking about rats--not people. That CNN commentator was way out of line to say otherwise. Baltimore is literally full of rats--one of the worst, according to Orkin.
Thanks for your post.
And, Trump is right. Many parts of Baltimore are hellholes. And, have been for quite some time.
It's ironic that this fact has been stated many times on this forum, but now that Trump has pointed it out, it is an issue.
Why isn't he speaking out about the mice/roach infested White House?
The White House is more than old, and even President Harry S. Truman joked in 1945 that the building remained the "crown jewel of the federal prison system." It has not been renovated fully since the 1950s.

Democrats don’t really care if black people live in drug and murder infested hell holes. They are mad Trump is pointing it out.
What did GOP and Trump do to show they care?

The study also concluded blue states, or those that go to Democrats in elections, had bigger drug problems than red states, which are governed by Republican majorities.
States with the the highest percentage of adult drug users were Vermont, Alaska, Colorado, Oregon, and the District of Columbia, while Utah, Texas, Alabama, North Dakota, and Iowa had the lowest percentage.
Washington, D.C., topped every state in a new study for having the biggest problems in terms of drug use and addiction.
The District of Columbia was rated the worst place for drug use based on arrest, overdose rates to opioid prescriptions, and meth-lab incidents, according to a WalletHub report released Monday, the start of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration's National Prevention Week.
Missouri, New Hampshire, Michigan, West Virginia, New Mexico, Indiana, Rhode Island, Kentucky, and Pennsylvania followed D.C.

Ok, but it's not the President's job to smear an entire city with charged language like Trump did. I don't care what Mueller could not prove, it's really hard not to see Trump as a Russian puppet right now.
What does Russia have to do with Baltimore being dangerous and dirty? You think the people who live there deserve to have their city be that way?
They don't deserve to be smeared by the president.
He’s not smearing the helpless residents. He’s smearing the elected officials and highly paid bureaucracy who live much, much better and safer then the people they are elected and paid to represent.
