Commitments made before GDA existed. McLean was the premier club in the ECNL before the GDA now they are in the tier 2 league. Their mistake.
Florida State commitment was this year. The point is you can get recruited in either platform.

A westcoast powerhouse like Stanford at a regional east coast showcase wasnt impressive enough for this stud parent.
At least ECNL was smart enough to move their playoffs right next to GDA playoffs this year. That way the coaches can get to some ECNL games too.

So, UNC and Florida State did not attend the ECNL showcase (s).
Apples to oranges. As good as the PDA showcase is, it cannot compare to a national playoff event, DA or ECNL. Compare the two national playoffs.
UNC and FSU were at the Winter DA showcase - head coaches.
