The reason that Loudoun's older teams haven't stacked up well in years past was that there was no path for U13 and above, so the best players left for FCV (ECNL at the time) and others. Loudoun developed them, FCV took them and took credit for them..... FCV does not have a good program for the younger kids....they bring them in from other clubs. Just look at this year, when the turnout was lower than expected because of the variety of options now for the Ashburn area (e.g., FCV is not the only game in town....)
