Agree! I stopped going there and now go the LB one. The LB one is really nice and reminds me of old school department stores when I was a kid.

I think the target near me went down hill asoon as they included groceries. There is less space for the other stuff which means they have less selection and always are out if stock. Half the time I am there I am standing in the aisle, looking at the empty shelf and pull out my phone to order from amazon. Not to mention the groceries increase the odds of gross shopping carts. I think target is running into the problem sears had - it cannot decide what it wants to be. It was an upscale Walmart. By adding cheap groceries, it is trying to be both upscale and downscale and it does not work.

Costco.
Definitely Costco. It’s so much cheaper - like 50% cheaper- and you go once and you’re done for 4-6 weeks.
I'd go to Costco more if they could figure out their GD parking lot and check out lines. And the gas lines. It's the worst experience EVER anytime I go to Costco. I love shopping there, but everything else is awful. I went to costco yesterday at 2pm and it was a mad house. Sterling Costco is normally where I go.
Well, probably everyone is going just before school pickup at that hour? Go earlier or later and you’re probably good. Never on a Saturday, omg!!
People are even running in that place as the doors close at 6 on weekends.
Best idea is probably join Costco and have paper goods delivered?
Is 2pm a bad time for Costco? I used to go at 12 and that was worse because of the lunch crowd. After 4pm is a disaster. I can’t go early. Please someone tell me when to go to Costco. It’s so packed I feel like they need a sign like the ERs “gas-40 minutes”
3 pm? Kid school pickup time?

I was in there today, and shocked. I rarely look at the women’s clothes. I always assume junky and unattractive. But today I was perusing, their swim suits, cute pool/beach bags, women’s athletic and casual wear, PJs, bras and undies, cute tops. Nice muted colors.

Sam's Club has an app where you can scan items as you put them in the cart, pay on your phone, and stroll out after flashing your phone to the door guard. I will never wait in line at Sam's again. Check and see if Costco has the same feature.

You must go to a Target that hasn't been renovated (read: devastated) yet.

OMG, you may have just changed my life!! I didn't realize they delivered? Must investigate!

So back to Target - I have them deliver all paper products, free 2-day(ish) shipping and 5% RedCard discount - works well.
Costco paper goods are a 1000 times cheaper, red card or not. Nice try Target “executive”

I love Target! We go yo the Rockville one and the new Bethesda mini one. Also find it to be the best place to get our flu shots. (Each person gets a $5 gift card)
