Really, you can't get that he lied to protect Trump, got caught, and now is telling the truth to avoid further penalties? Seems rather straightforward to me. Plus, none of the stuff that he is telling us about Trump is really a surprise. It's just filling in the blanks.

You mean a guy who pled guilty to lying to Congress should not be believed when he tells the truth about what he lied about, and instead would risk further jail time by coming back and lying again? Especially when he comes in saying he doesn't want and would not accept a pardon.
