You're not a true Dem. You're just selfish. No on the wall.

Anonymous wrote:Amazing he's willing to shut down the Government for years over the wall, when he promised Mexico would pay for the wall. He's bankrupting America just like he bankrupted his businesses.

Schumer: Trump said he would close government for a 'long time ... even years'
Returning to the Capitol, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell told reporters there is an agreement to hold staff level talks on ending the shutdown this weekend. Trump said he designated a group of aides to participate in the discussions, which he described as meant to "determine what we're going to do about the border."
It's that question which still divides the White House and congressional Democrats, who have vowed to block any attempts to secure new funding for a border wall.
"We cannot resolve this until we open up government, and we made that very clear to the President," Pelosi said after the White House meeting.
He's the biggest disgrace to the office of POTUS in history. No one with any brains and a desire to keep this country functional would threaten to shut down the Government for years.
Someone needs to explain to Trump that without Government, there's anarchy.
I think he may successfully bully the Ds into blessing the wall.
I think he will get the same deal about the dreamers he turned down last year.

But this is what he both wants and needs to avoid punishment on a personal legal - criminal and civil - level. I called this immediately. I have no doubt he will faux negotiate but do his utmost to extend this to late winter unless and until proceedings start in the House.
Wow. So he's going to take the country down with him to try to avoid punishment for his misdeeds. Let's hope there are some GOP members out there who value country over party loyalty.
