Take a look at the field conditions in other countries that their PROs play on. They are literally running through puddles and mud patches.
And here some parents are complaining about their little princes and princesses not having an adequate field to play on. What a joke.
Sure, but they aren't paying through the nose for it either. It's not about princes and princesses, it's about getting value for money spent.
Foolish for spending tons of money on soccer too. All you need for soccer is a ball and enough players. Its ridiculous that it would cost $1000s for kids to play soccer.
Again, this attitude is why America will always suck at soccer. So focused on stupid things and not development as players.
That is easy to say sure, but how would you explain the success of our women's side? Those teams were developed in a pay to play environment.
Notwithstanding that, the environment is what it is. One cannot just forgo playing in our system because it costs too much. There simply aren't enough players playing in the alleys and mudpit fields to develop well here.
and finally, why are you so bitter?

Exactly. I mean, just look at France, who won last summer's World Cup. Their PRO teams play on complete crap fields. Every time I watch PSG play on their home field, I feel sorry for Mbappe and Neymar. I can only imagine the angry posts from their parents on ParisUrbanMom's soccer blog. I bet they are livid that their kids have to play on such dangerous fields while being paid millions of dollars to play soccer.
This is exactly why US soccer sucks and will never be good (at least on the men's side, since your argument falls apart on the women's side).
Thank God my little prince and princess have the privilege to play their games on fields the caliber of Summer Hill and Muldoons. I wish I could pay BSC more for the privilege . . .
You are a complete idiot. PSG pays millions to Mbappe to play on those crappy fields. We, on the other hand, have to pay BSC for our kids to play on those crappy fields. What don’t you understand?
Exactly. If my kid is being paid millions while risking injury, that's very different. I'm not thinking of how France is doing on the world stage as I'm taking my kid to urgent care for his injury (which happened to us a few years ago at Muldoons).
