If the owner was working with the FBI and now he's in Pakistan, I can't imagine he will last long there.

A video of the route the limo took.

Yeah... all these responses expressing disbelief really explain the terrible driving on the beltway. I sometimes wonder how people are so careless with their lives to get one car ahead or shave a minute off a trip to the grocery store. I guess I have my answer.

I'm a science PhD and it's pretty clear to me why and how all of them could be dead after that type of impact.

Truly awful, but not surprising.

Please elaborate.

Geez. Do you really not know this? None of them were wearing seatbelts. When the limo crashed they became 18 100lb+ projectiles moving 60+ MPH towards the front of the limo, where they hit each other and the walls.

And skulls, necks and spines aren't exactly made of steel.

Plus the limo hit the suv. If it hadn’t hit another car and rolled into the ditch b/c it was going too fast to make the turn at the stop sign, there might have been a different story.

Yeah, in this particular accident I'd probably expect to see decapitations. Plus there would have been broken glass from bottles and glasses flying around cutting people, since normally people are drinking in party limos.

All in all, a horrifying sight for the first responders

My guess is more subdural hematomas vs. decapitations since the limo itself was basically in one piece. Still horrible.

Read the story above. He’s sited as an immigrant. I’d guess legal immigrant, as he was working heavily with the FBI and US government. It doesn’t specify if he’s a citizen.

I was trying earlier but there were some posts deleted from this thread. I wonder if he'll be extradited or just get away with it?

There is so much wrong in this story. The owner of the company was an FBI informant. The driver had a criminal past. Absolutely horrible story. Horrible.

I’ve driven that road. It’s a long slope - it’s one of those that all of the sudden, if you’re not paying attention, you look down and you’re going much faster than you thought. They changed it some years ago, the stop didn’t used to have right angles, and they added more signs. If you don’t stop yourself from picking up speed it would be hard to stop a large heavy vehicle like a limo, but that’s no excuse. IMO, it’s really only dangerous if you’re not paying attention.
