It just bothers me that there are only older women (70s-80s) shopping at Chico’s. It’s one of my 83 year old mother’s go to places to shop. I broke down and bought some black pants there a few weeks ago because it was convenient. I like them but that’s it for me. I’m not ready to dress like my mother even though looks very stylish in her Chico’s outfits.

I don’t mind those brands per se. But I don’t buy them because they are cut boxy and I still have a waist (50 years old and thankful!). They just don’t fit me. But I appreciate that they help keep older women (and I may be there one day!) a classic timeless look.

Talbots once used good materials but now it's cheap with admixtures of nylon and polyester.
