In 2014, 88,007 votes were cast for all the candidates running for County Executive. In 2018, 118,749 votes were cast for the Exec candidates, and that's even before we've counted the absentee and provisional ballots of which there could be as many as 18,500. That's at least 30,742 more votes cast in this race, a 35% increase this year over 4 years ago.
To put that in perspective, Larry Hogan beat Anthony Brown by 65,500 votes 4 years ago statewide.
If we can turnout 35,000 more Dems just in Montgomery County alone for the general election than we did last time, still think Governor Hogan is a shoo-in?

IDK, Jealous has a lot of support in Baltimore.
Anonymous wrote:Is this a serious question? Hogan, of course. He's doing a fantastic job and -- hopefully and most likely -- will easily be reelected.

Anonymous wrote:I posted earlier about not wanting to support Jealous, but maybe I will vote for him just as a protest vote against republicans and to show that I want universal pre-k
Will MCPS get universal pre-k with elrich or blair?

Certainly not the wealthy, many tax laws favor the wealthy. It’s why President Trump was able to get away with paying virtually little to no tax. My dear brethren it will be the middle class who will pay the tax increases as it has always been. We the little people don’t have enough knowledge or resources to use little unknown tax loopholes.
