However, you should also consider that the applicant pools for GDS and Maret are differentiated to a certain degree.

LMAO. Are you talking about 3-4 year olds or kids have a few years of grades under their belts? If you are talking about the little ones, what credential do they have other than their parents'? If you are talking about the later, it is the same 6 graders across the city applying for the same schools: Sidwell, GDS, Maret, St Albans (if the boy wants to go to a single sex school)... It is a crap shot who ends in which school.

Prattle on.

The Wikipedia entry on Maret shows 6 prominent alumni. The Wikipedia list for GDS is four times as long.

The voice of Bart Simpson is a Maret alum. Can't beat that for diversity in careers.

The GDS list arguably understates their accomplishments. For example it does not include the GDS Rhodes Scholar and a couple of rising stars in national journalism.

That is lame to have that all on Wikipedia.

One family has three of the GDS ‘prominent alum’ listings. Did they edit the Wikipedia entry?

Yes, Maret is self confident and self assured. GDS has to continually remind itself of how great it is, with parents, students and the school posting on Wikipedia.

You get what that says about both schools, right?

If this is the GDS troll; A game is on point today. On the other hand, the troll may be a myth.
