This. I've never understood the hype for that place. And we had the worst service.

so it's just like a Parisian cafe? it's all about the vibe and locale

I like the similar restaurant with the same owners on Rittenhouse Sq in Philly. Same food, better view, less hype.

Parc.

I had the best fish fillet I've ever eaten there. So have to disagree on Cafe du Parc.

Cafe du Parc will always have a special place in my heart because we went there right after we found out our baby would be born healthy at CHOP. My DH got drunk on rose and then went and rolled around in magnolia blossoms in Rittenhouse Square. I ate a lot of bread and butter

Actually love Cafe du Parc. Staid in a good way.

i dont get it. i know people go there to see and be seen but wow the absurdity of paying $35 for a cup of not great risotto.

YES. I was just texting a friend about this earlier the week after reading that Louise Linton loves it. I would rather boil my own spaghetti than eat there.

Ha. Just go to Surfside. All the Mexican items from the menu, but at a lower price and more casual setting.

Plus a roof deck, with good music.

Rather eat at Burger King:
Zatinya
Tapas place on corner across from Verizon center
Chloe

Sorry, but if you think Little Serow is overrated, you know nothing about food.

Dude - I’m entitled to my opinion. Go eat at little sorrow.

Happily. Enjoy your pad thai from Tara Thai.

This. After six years in DC I am coming to this realization. Mind-blowing ethnic food from all over the planet and a bunch of pretentious and mediocre "fancy" places.

This. Ethnic restaurants a 10. All the latest trendy restaurants a 2.

True. And just cheap food in general. I mean, there's a case to be made for the perfectly composed Shake Shake burger fresh off the grill.
