I'm actually a bit disappointed. My son made a good choice for valid reasons, but not the choice I would have made in his shoes and he gave up some things I value. But, like I said, a good choice, valid academically-based reasons, and a good fit. So I'm happy.

Aw don't sweat it. My alma mater gets trashed on this forum constantly - but it was the right school for me, got me into the #1 grad school in my field, and I am quite successful. It is also where I met my husband and best friend. If I could go back in time, I wouldn't change a thing!
Be proud of your child. They are going to college!

Still deciding between Michigan, Virginia, Colby, UCSD. And some waitlists hanging out as well - though those might be an issue after May 1.

I graduated from IU's Kelly school as well as several of my siblings. Currently, several of my nieces and nephews attend IU, so I'm familiar with the current culture. If your DD wants to enroll in Kelly, I strongly suggest she join a sorority. It's just the culture of the business school. If she does it will serve her well and if not, she will be an outliner.
