You would have been notified at the end of K for 1st grade and at the end of 1st for second grade if your kid was eligible for Level II services. And you have to sign a letter consenting to the services.
Is this available at every school? My child's reading level was the highest in the class for K and 1 st and I never heard of this

Yes it will say your choices are the center or staying at base with level III
