Swami says you'll match with ATCH initially with top 30 waitlist numbers at Breakthrough, CMI, and DCB. You will wonder if you should have ordered your initial list differently, and DCUM will question you for it. You'll end up staying at AT because you get assigned to Breakthrough Takoma on a July offer and it just doesn't work for you.

Swmi thinks you will be rewarded for a reasonable list, and end up at EE French on Friday. You will spend the rest of the summer thinking you should have ordered your list differently until you receive an offer from TRYoung by July 20th. You will sign up to organize the classroom summer playdate.

The gift horse gets you into BASIS. You play out your HRCS middle school with some trepidation instead because you aren't loving the hours of homework.

Thanks Swami. Forgot to mention that we’re IB for Deal. Would probably only leave our school for Latin.

Then swami rides with declining BASIS and staying IB

DH believes that not listing Noyes, our IB, is a good plan because we can add it back right after the lottery and would jump the list. I would have preferred to eliminate Bruce-Monroe as too unlikely and keep Noyes to avoid the uncertainty. What does Swami think?

Swami thinks this is the only thing your husband has been right about in some time, and you will have a terrible pull, add Noyes, and by the end of the summer end of enrolling at Noyes, then Langley (after hard conversation on whether it is that much better), and SSMA by August. Save a copy of your enrollment paperwork.
