+1. I’ve never had it go as far as invitations back to rooms, but have had female colleagues express sexual interest.
I’m very careful who I drink with on trips, or who I get close to. If it’s obvious there’s a crush involved, i’ll Distance myself.
I certainly love my wife, but I also have a family with two small kids to protect.

Plenty of men think they would like their wives to just walk away so they could go on with the AP. Most of them who get their wish end up regretting it. Those sexy APs want their own children and are often far more demanding that wife #1.
No, you just refuse to reclaim your dignity and leave. The men learn to hide things a little more as the compromise. It's really not a fight, at all.

You know, you are right. I am shocked that more people do not realize and/or admit this. Second marriages are a sham a lot of the time, because the couples lost two families, totally damaged the kids, and now they have to make it work - they don't have a choice. Each friend I know who has been through this (about ten or so, at my age) has regretted breaking their family into shards over a "soul mate" that is anything but. Sucks, but thy should have thought it through even a little bit, and they would not have screwed up so bad. It's not like they can go backward in time, but they would if they could. So immature and irresponsible (since this is anon).
