How do you feel about the school though? We are looking to move this summer and saw a home zoned for Timber Lane, but it’s rated 2 on great schools. Do you like the school?

Have you looked at multiple boards about the school?

Same issue with our family. We are zoned for an at risk school rated 1, but the area is very nice. We decided to go to a language program school. If you do you take a chance with the lottery on getting in. Good luck.

Our son is K so we are still relatively new to the school. So far we have been happy, he has a very good teacher and has learned a ton this year. Our neighborhood (Greenway Downs) is a great neighborhood so we are sticking with the school and not planning to move. If he gets into AAP he will have the option of going to Mantua in third grade.

Someone who is toxic and crazy enough to make something like that up should NOT be working with our kids and families and should be summarily fired.

I think we just need to do research before leaving our kids in the care of others. Some will be bad, some and probably most will be good. There is a point when someone should retire. Just be careful making your decision.

Seriously? Stop rolling over and accepting stuff like this. Unbelievable. Lying about parents calling her racist names should get her fired and blacklisted.

If more people had stepped up, she could have been out years ago.

She called a father a racist.

The last few days I have pulled my daughter out of the Ft Hunt SACC while deciding what to do.

SACC is really awesome when done right. Last year my daughter loved it. This year she hates it. Seeing it in two schools I can see the difference, just in the kids faces. This is even causing problems between my wife and I. I am thinking of going back to Waynewood.

I had my kids in Frank Sherman when I worked on the farm. It is a big center. We were on a waiting list for a while before getting in. We didn't get our spot till right before school started. I had a particular problem with one of the SACC teachers, and we often had to have "conversations" but after one of those the issues was usually resolved...at least till next time. We are in a different area of FFX County now, and the issue at Frank Sherman pale in comparison to what we face now. If I were to rate it, I would give it a 6.5 out of 10. Where we are now, 4 out of 10

Colvin Run SACC is one of the best there is. They have I think 90-100 kids there. Everyone I know likes it there, and there has never been a problem with staff as far as my family is concerned. If you live in the area give Colvin run a visit. They would be more then willing to see you.
