Sorry, but the campus is beautiful but the Bullis boys are 10x worse than Landon boys and that is saying a lot. The girls are all pretty dumb for private school kids.
I just have never understood it.
Bullis does not give athletic scholarships. So much misinformation on this board.

Does anyone who is objective have any clue how many applicants they get for 9th grade? DC loved the school and it is our first choice. How hard is it to get in? I do know of one child who was rejected who I thought was a strong candidate. Thank you.
It's very hard to get into because of the amount of applicants. The campus, infrastructure, learning tools, sports equipment, music department, etc are top notch. For that reason lots of kids apply as first choice.
The "haters" are those who cold never afford Bullis, were rejected, or didn't get the financial aid they'd hoped for.
Rest assured, the 'haters" are not "Top three" moms; they are not on these boards trashing Bullis. If their child is at Top Three (insert here) they aren't thinking, "oh I think I'll go trash Bullis online."
This last poster is nuts!!! Very hard to get into? You cannot be talking about Bullis in Potomac, Md. Bullis is a below average school with a gorgeous campus. Lot's of bullies and not a very welcoming place if you are not part of Country Club crews. I would not send my child there. Trust me, we did and had to pull our DD out for various reasons. Just FYI, nobody is jealous of Bullis and NOBODY is getting rejected unless they are a non athlete who cannot afford it. The school knows who can afford and who cannot before they make offers. STAY AWAY. Try St. Andrews or any other school in the area.
I suggest staying away from St. Andrew's as well.

You have to really evaluate the vibe of the class. The current 10th grade girl environment is bad with clicks of major bullies and entitled girls who think being mean is cool
