Yes, telling people to go to hell is a nastiness that is equivalent to denying children healthcare.

We should take our personal hurt feelings about what someone said to us that wasn't polite on the internet or elsewhere--and use it to vote in people that will harm our neighbor's children. Sounds right.

Except that I was told to go to hell for questioning the possible overlap between CHIP and Medicaid. I never said anything about denying children healthcare. Even a HINT that I don't just blindly follow the liberal mantra is enough to send me to hell, according to you.

What happens with liberals like you is that you are quick to curse out a person who has the gall to even question inefficiencies about delivery of taxpayer benefits. And your nonsense about "voting in people to harm children" is the over-dramatic response to a conservative who wants to know if a program can be streamlined - rather than fall lock-step into the liberal narrative of "just give whatever needs to be provided without questioning whether it could be done more efficiently."

You should get over your hatred of those who want to see more government efficiency of health care delivery (if it can be done without loss of health care to children - and it can). Your demonization of those who voice valid concerns will continue to cost you votes at the polls.

Meh. We will take back the House in 2018. Screw the hillbilly red states.

That’s funny given our current administration

We do lose our tempers and tell people to go to hell and worse on here. But we are just so frustrated when Trumpcut supporters are not seeing the whole picture of the impact on their own lives--or if they are comfortable enough not to be directly impacted, the lives of others around them.

Please think about your fellow man. If he is impoverished unfairly, you soon will be too, unless you are a 1%'r. If you are, grow a conscience.

I'm starting to get nervous for my niece and nephew and their health care and I asked him what the plan was if/when Virginia ran out of funds. He started screaming at me that high healthcare and insurance costs were the fault of women entering the workforce; if we stayed at home like we should, then everything would be cheaper.

So, he doesn't have a plan. Neither do I, really.

Wow. I'm sorry. Your brother sounds unpleasant. Does he not realize that SAHP are covered by their spouse's insurance? And that we can't just selectively insure men?

Hah. NOVA supports rural VA. I don't mind PP's brothers kids getting CHIP-I vehemently object to any ACA funds for illegals and the co-mingling of entitlements.

Over 800 MILLION workers will be replaced by machines by 2030. Only 13 years from now. Will there be enough Trump “coal cleaning” jobs because those new factories are going to be automated.

DP. I think you should go to hell, too.

But I hope everyone in your kids’ classes gets their vaccinations and flu shots.

I'll never vote for a liberal again. They are so hateful, all,the while patting themselves on the back for caring about people.

Maybe take some sunscreen and bottled water.

See? I care.

You don't care that so many people are appalled by the hateful and condescending attitude of liberals and their cursing of Americans who dare raise a question about out-of-control entitlement programs that they voted your "ilk" out of office? You sure cared on Election Day. And you'll care again on Eection Day 2020.

Here’s what I care about:

- There are a number of things that happen prenatally and in the first few years a life that have tremendous impact on physical, mental and emotional development, which sets the course for the rest of that life. It makes a difference in whether or not one can become a productive, taxpaying citizen or a person that taxpaying citizens have to carry - through welfare, healthcare, prison - until that person dies. The GOP is chasing investment from corporations, but they’re forgetting - or ignoring - that private industry relies heavily on public investment. In infrastructure, security, environment and, yes, human capital. Even if every business relies on automation from here on out, every business needs humans to develop and build it and then consume - that is, BUY - what that business produces.

You want a country full of humans who are too dumb, sick and poor to support private business? That’s the hell we’re ALL going to, driven by stupid idiots like you. Too bad, so sad that hurts your feelings but the country is in a crisis and can no longer afford to coddle the stupid.

Apparently not. In the liberal world, taxpayers are just supposed to fork over as much money as liberals demand and never question whether programs could be streamlined without causing any loss of benefits. YOU go to hell.

It would be nice if you all ever applied to this philosophy to defense spending, which is a gargantuan portion of the federal budget compared to health insurance and food assistance for children.

+1 funny how caring about the health of children is considered a "liberal" thing by some on this forum.

The overlapping of entitlement programs and inefficiencies in delivery of federal benefits is a thing among conservatives. Liberals don't care how much money is wasted with redundancies as long as it is somebody else's money paying for it.

I think it's great that upper-middle income people might have to pay a few thousand dollars more in taxes. Lower-middle income people (two people living on less than $70k GROSS are LM in DMV) were screwed by Obamacare, and none of you liberals cared.

Liberals wanted to fix the problems that cropped up with Obamacare. Cons just want to throw it all away and let the health insurance company CEOs run everything.
