Politico is reporting that he also took military planes on several oversees trips which cost in excess of $500000. Just for perspective obamas health secretary Kathleen sebelius never once used a military plane for overseas trips
This is outrageous

I'm trying to parse out Tom Price's statement that he will reimburse taxpayers for "his seat" on the charter jets. I'm guessing he had at least 10 people with him for each trip. So instead of paying the $300K that his choices to travel on the private plane cost, he'll end up reimbursing the US Government $30K? That's being really cheap given that the other 9 people could have flown commercial were it not for his expensive tastes.
I love the statement that he's "taking the unprecedented step of reimbursing the government." Forgetting that the unprecedented step was the private jet for government business.
And these are only the unprecedented steps we know about. He's obviously comfortable bilking the taxpayers he works for. Personal net worth of $8 million and all that.

The White House approved the use of military aircraft for multi-national trips by Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price to Africa and Europe this spring, and to Asia in the summer, at a cost of more than $500,000 to taxpayers.
The overseas trips bring the total cost to taxpayers of Price’s travels to more than $1 million since May, according to a POLITICO review.
Can anyone explain why price has to take a military jet for jaunts around Asia with his wife? WTF was he doing in Asia anyway? Another half hour trip to a dispensary before touring the great wall?
And why do Trump supporters like being screwed out of their tax dollars by Price, Mnuchin, and Mr. secure phone Booth at EPA? This is why they like Trump??
Most Trump voters are "low information voters." Especially if they subsist on a diet of Fox News, they may never even seen this story.

He's not actually reimbursing for the flights, just a seat on the plane at business class rates.
