Almost everyone I see biking at that time is commuting. Its not at all hard to arrive on time, depending on where you work and how fast you ride.

I have zero issue with bicyclists that sack to bike lanes and trails. That's fine. What becomes a problem is when you are commuting in lanes where the speed is higher than you, on your bike, can reach- inconveniencing drivers, especially at a crucial time like rush hour. Have some awareness and empathy for those around you and don't bike down major thoroughfares.

We had a guy in our office who biked to work. He kept his work clothes in the gym locker and showered and changed at the office. You can't tell whether someone is biking to work or no just by what they are carrying.

I get that there are some cyclists who ignore the laws, etc., and I'm not a cyclist, but I'm always surprised by the number of assholes who think that threatening to injure and kill people is not only acceptable, but funny. It's pretty gross, and it takes a lot of energy to stop myself from wishing that they would be injured or killed (in a one-car accident, so no one else gets hurt) while driving around like they own the world. I figure these are the same people who talk on their phones while they drive, speed, and otherwise ignore their fair share of traffic laws. Btw, i walk a lot on a bike path which is right by my house, and heaven help those who get in the way of the tricyclists. They will FREAK OUT and try to physically intimidate you into moving.

BUT if a car dishes right back, of course that is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE.
