Every time I go to the pool to relax I am surrounded by children screaming, slapping each other with pool noodles, splashing other people, high pitched shrieking, etc. cannot wait to move to a building without a lot of little kids.
Are you a parent? Obv not! This is normal and totally appropriate, otherwise they don't get their "wiggles and emotions" out. A lot of things change when you are a parent, you understand more.
Nope. You're incorrect. Your kids need to be mindful of their surroundings. Be a parent.
It’s a mixed use place so while it is outdoors and no one expects quiet, the kids should be expected to be mindful of other people. Even if it is only kids, I’m sure there are kids there who don’t enjoy constant screaming as well.

Kids + Pools = screaming. If you knew your building had a pool when you turned in the application, then you have nobody to blame but yourself for your irritation.
Also: weren't you ever a kid? Sheesh.

Even if no kids live there at the time you sign the lease, new people with kids could move in and existing tenants could give birth, adopt, foster, etc.
Yeah, fair point. Although what really bothered me is that the mom of the screamer was yakking on the phone for an hour while her child shrieked and annoyed everyone else.
They always are. Rude, bratty kids = lazy, checked out parents.

Let kids be kids.
You probably did the same thing too when you were younger....
Anonymous wrote:Oh no you mean, public pools may have kids there? The audacity. You should sue the complex!!!!
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:These children are outside. Yelling/shrieking is allowed outside.
False. Raised voices from happy play are allowed. Screaming and shrieking should only be allowed in case of emergency. Parent your children, please.
I'm going to tell my kids to scream extra loud today.

You know there are 20+ other topic forums not involving parenting, right?
But we won't have much sympathy for you. Got it?
