Wow, you don't know when to quit, do you? Why don't you go tend to/advocate for your own baggage
?

When this poster brings the same issue up yet again

Of course and before the first date. Some people don't want to date or be in a relationship with someone with a kid(s).

Should never disclose any personal information for at least 6 months. Keeps things interesting.

Try to casually slip this into conversations from now on. It's strange you don't anyway.

I have in the past, if it comes up naturally. I'm 45, so at that age, it's not unusual to have a child. (or an ex.) I definitely don't hide the fact that I have a child.

If he freaks out, he's clearly not the guy for you.

I would absolutely tell him the first time I meet him. We come as a package deal, and I'm proud of my kids.

This.

It was on my profile. And I mentioned it if I met someone in person who seemed interesting. My now DH told me he had a son before he asked me out romantically. We were acquaintances for a couple months and then became friends before dating.

Admit before the date and save him some money.

If he's "turned off" because you have a child, he's not the right guy for you. Plus, how awesome will it be when he smiles at you and says, that's great, I love kids! I say drop it in conversation. Like a pp said, you're not confessing to a crime
