But we only go to the beach a few times a week and sometimes only for an hour at the end of the work day. We do plenty of other water based things - walk on the beach, kayak, paddleboard, sail, motor boat, plus biking, playing tennis, etc. So for us going to the beach does not necessarily mean literally being on the beach all day.
This. We have a place in south Carolina. We always go out and fish, collect oysters, go crabbing, kayaking, biking, the kids love surfing, tennis, and golf. We also got into Charleston a lot (so much to do there!) and will sometimes make any day trip into Savannah. Even though we have a house here, we always find new stuff to do.
I'm not sure how someone could be bored, but to each their own.
