Once the money is spent on a car, it can't go anywhere else. So yes, for that $200k it is literally mutually exclusive

No matter how much they give to charity, they could give more if they didn't buy the tacky car

Because then we’d have to pay all the expenses for a second car. We live in the city and pay for a garage. I’ll just continue to treat DH’s baby like the minivan I wish it were

Lol. I think women's hair styling costs are ridiculous too. But try getting someone to do a "magic straight hair perm" for less than $250. Perms cost 100 plus and the ones to make the hair straight costs a whole lot more. I hate the high cost but those are market rates for people like me with very curly and unruly hair.
