Q: When can they actually provide a forecast with confidence? Tuesday?

I'm in MoCo, so I'm hopeful that even an inch or two on the ground by Tuesday morning will shut down schools since we haven't had any snow days.

CWG is the worst. The only thing they ever report with confidence is weather will happen.

I like CWG because they are frank about the limitations of their forces and they provide a lot of info (technical and non-technical, which is all I understand) to explain their forecast and their confidence level. Greater certainty in a forecast doesn't do you any good if it is just as likely to be wrong or right.

It's looking more likely than not that Tuesday will be a shut down. I'm going to call my oncologist on Monday to see if he can fit me in that day instead of waiting until after the storm. I just hope we don't lose power.

That happened to me in 2009, 9 inches of snow. So glad we owned a jeep when I went into labor.

Fingers crossed for you. My OB told me if you do call 911 and don't drive (in case you get stuck)

Don't worry. Baby knows when it is the right time to be born
