Probably Hunter and Hallie were good friends before Beau's death and then they leaned on each other heavily after Beau's death while they were both grieving and emotions were high.
Not sure what prompted the split between Hunter and Kathleen but maybe that was going to happen anyway?
Wow. This type of comment makes me feel so bad for Kathleen. Her husband has all the money, power and connections. Everyone will side with him, no matter how bad he screwed her over.
Maybe she left him? Maybe they were dealing with marital problems before Beau died? I have no idea what caused them to split up. If Kathleen was blind sided by an affair that would be awful and I would feel for her. But if Kathleen and Hunter were already having marital issues and needed to go their separate ways then that would be something else entirely.
I'm actually not taking sides in this at all. I don't know enough about their split to really have an opinion.
Wow. This is what happens when you leave a powerful man who betrays you.
There is plenty reason to believe Hunter wrongfully hurt Kathleen. We have zero evidence that she was the wrongdoer.
Yet so many still seem inclined to back Hunter.
Uh, I don't KNOW them. Do you?
The whole thing is weird and it is sad no matter what.
I don't know them, but I've seen this happen to many women married to powerful men.
Youve seen the powerful men leave their wives for their dead brothers widow?
Nope. Feel free to re-read and try again.
Just hope and pray that you are never in Hunter Biden's shoes. He's been dealing with tragedy since he was child.
Respectfully, you have no idea who I am or what I've dealt with since I was a child.
NO here. Can you take your jibber jabber defensiveness somewhere else? You've stolen the thread to make it all about you. Thanks.

Maybe there is more we do not know. Maybe she cheated on him, or worse?
Maybe she was on a cheater website like Ashley Madison!
Oh wait! That was her husband.
It is possible she cheated.
It is also possible to register on a website and not partake, for instance I have a peapod account yet have never placed an order for groceries to be deliever to my house. See how that works.
The act of registering does not 100% point to guilt.

Parents do their best to raise good, hard-working, responsible children, but it does not always turn out that way. Once a child is a grown-up adult the responsibility is on them.
+1. I also wonder if hunters problems are in any way linked to all the pain killers he was probably on after the accident that killed his mother and sister. I don't think we really have a good understanding of how those drugs affect developing brain chemistry and endorphin receptors particularly. It doesn't excuse his problems of course but maybe factored into the addiction problem. This family seems like they've had a lot of pain over the years, unfortunately.
