What you mean is fraud.

nope. She's a paying customer at Dulles airport. Paying customers can use the access road. Fraud is illegal.

Vienna 40 minutes to FB - but I only have a 4 min commute to metro, but my office is a few blocks from metro. If we 66 in, it's like 25 minutes max!

DTSS to Navy Yard

Leave my house at 5:15 am -- 25 minutes, sometimes 20
Leave work at 2:30 pm to come home -- 35 to 45 minutes

Do this in rush hour -- 1.5 hours

"The point is that unless you live inside the station, and work in the station, you are probably shaving off a minimum of 10 minutes since you don't account for actually getting into/out of the station (Gallery Place has several escalators and is very crowded at rush hour; don't know about TP but some stations are really deep and even if you walk the escalator, it's at least 5 minutes). And if you don't live / work practically next door, then you aren't counting the time it takes you to get to the metro and to the office. Duh! "

+1
"commute" = your front door to your office door. It does not equal time on the train.

Burke to Rosslyn area - 1 hour, 15 minutes during rush hour. But at the time i normally drive it's more typically 45 minutes in the AM and 50 minutes in the PM.

Live in N Arlington, work at DuPont. 30 mins both ways, occasionally up to 45 home. Driving is quicker than the metro and I only go to the office Fridays. Wife commutes 2 miles away in Arlington, 10 minutes.

Burke to L'Enfant is an hour door-to-door. Bicycling to the VRE train station takes 10 minutes, tops; the train ride (which I love) is about 45 minutes; then a five-minute walk to my office. Healthy and restful commute, I enjoy it.

Leave Kensington for Cap Hill at 6:45, at work (after double drop off) at 8am. Drive time alone is 40 minutes. Reverse is always at least ten minutes more drive time.

Alexandria (FFX County 6 mi south of beltway) to downtown Silver Spring took me between 45 - 75 minutes and it was about 35 miles.

Now I live in Waldorf and though it's only another 10 miles, a commute during rush hour can take up to two hours. Rush hour here starts at about 6 AM and goes until about 8 or 8:30 AM. I leave for work at 9:10 and get there in about an hour typically.

No freaking way, unless you're leaving before 6 am after 9 pm. More like an hour to an hour and a half each way

Thanks! I tried this on my commute this morning and shaved five minutes off my usual time.
