Op, I'm in TX now and married to a conservative. The sky isn't falling, it's not worth your time worrying about this so much. Debate can be a good thing, if you want to change his mind talk to him w respect and respect his opinion even if he doesn't agree with you. Basically, get in a better head space and dont ruin your marriage over this, it's not with it.
