Subject: My ex is getting remarried on what would've been our anniversary!
This is how men are. He probably doesn't remember your anniversary - just that you got married in October sometime. And he probably remembers "someone" talking about the resort but doesn't remember it was you. They listen to about 1/3 of what anyone says and then commandeer everyone's ideas for their own. Aren't you glad you divorced him?

My ex chose our wedding anniversary for his reception date with his third wife and after their divorce, his nuptials occurred with his fourth wife the day before our anniversary. This dude is nuts

Look, you spend all those years memorizing a certain date so you don't get in trouble if you forget it. Why not just save some effort and re-use the same date?
